Trojan Vundo Removal

Trojan Vundo, also known as Trojan.Vundo, is a trojan horse which is used to allow popup advertising into a user’s computer. Trojan Vundo enters the user’s computer and then procedes to download forms of adware into the users computer. The trojan is also known for downloading advertising to convince the user to download fake antivirus applications, such as Antivirus 360 and Antivirus 2009. This trojan can also slow down the computer since it uses system memory.

Trojan Vundo is classified as a trojan horse. A trojan horse is any type of computer application which creates undesirable activties in a user’s computer.

Trojan Vundo can be removed through many different removal tools. Generally, removing the trojan manually is challenging, however, it can be done with the use of HijackThis, a free utility.

  6. Thank you for the information, but I wasn’t able to run any of the options on the computer. The virus shuts them down. I am at a loss now..
